    Hi Ibrahim,
I love the glasses – it looks very ’serious’ ;-)

    Hi,
Your blog looks very stylish and “British”, a bit too serious, perhaps. Maybe that’s the look you want. I’ll link to you in my “blogroll” (see how much I’m learning!?!?) .-D
    Hugs,
    Claudia

Surprising! That´s my first reaction. Very simple and even puzzling since most web pages and blogs are quite colorful. But it all depends on what you are going to be using it for and the audience you are going to get. Thanks for showing me a different “angle”. Warm regards, :) Berta

Hey Ibrahm, congrats on your new blog :-)
It follows the KISS rule ;-)
I am eager to see the content you are going to include. There are so many different kinds of blogs!

    hugs,
    Daf

    Hi Ibrahim! :)
Nice to see you keep trying new tools. Thinking of the categories for blogs we’ve been reading about, I’d expect this one to be a “tutor blog”, especially one targeted at an adult audience. Perhaps encouraging research and reflection? Is that what you have in mind?
BTW, what language is “benötigt”? This appears next to “Name”… :-?

    Dear Ibrahim,
Kudos to you for starting this type of a Webpresence.
I also think that it’s a bit too serious and austere, and does not reveal the sensitivity I know you have. Could it be that you’re trying to “hide” that shyness you referred to in the beginning behind the glasses? Or, following on Hala’s comment, could it be that you’re trying to see the “real” world less fuzzy, less blurred?!
I totally agree with Daf that it follows the KISS principle.
    Hugs, Teresa

    Hi, Little brother,
I like the simplicity of your blog. I like the colour..it´s a cool, soothing blue. We each look at the world through our own individual glasses and, in a way, isn´t that what a blog is? I like it. If you´ve used it, it´s because it´s you.
    Congratulations
    Rubena

    Dear Ibrahim,

I like your style, plain and intriguing! People keep wondering why the glasses, and that’s the fun of it!

Hi Ibrahim, nice talking to you on YM. I hope you can make it to LT tonight! Aren’t you sick of the ripe lemon, too?

Ibrahim, what a nice blog. I tried to google your blog. Oh, that was interesting too. I wonder how your blog got a German look to it. And I want to thank you for all your participation at BaW.

    Dear Ibrahim,

I’m finally here! I understood the name and the mail fields, but for some strange reason wasn’t able to type anything in them on my two previous attempts. My cursor kept jumping to *benötigt. Ah, well!

I think that this blog could be a wonderful place for you to share your thoughts about teaching with technology like Will Richardson does in http://www.weblogg-ed.com/ or Stephen Downes does in http://www.downes.ca/

What do you think about these possibilities?

    Kindly,
    Sharon

I love the template, you’re not ‘wearing’ the glasses – it implies thoughtful Ibrahim is reflecting. It also shows you’ve taken time off your duties to help us grow. A big THANK YOU for your collaboration and for staying with us.

    Warmly,
    Analía
